Erben Tower

Photo from yesterday's evening walks. Tower stands about thirty minutes from my home. She's a nice view of the city and its surroundings.

On the top of Brandt Heights, (420 m) in place of today's stone tower stood before two wooden tower, but they were ruined by the weather.
The present tower built by the German Mountain Club in 1933 and was named after Alexander Erben, director of Czech Savings Bank and chairman of that association.
It is a favorite walking place with a nice view.
In 2006 the tower was rebuilt and raised by one floor.
