:bulletblack: This is one of the most modern bridges in Central Europe, which has been in 90 years 20th century, built as a landmark of the city. He leads a common center of communication for cyclists and pedestrians, four side stripes serve motorists.
It is a steel, 179 meters long and 75 meters high bridge over the River Elbe.
It is the largest bridge of its kind in the Czech Republic

:bulletblue: When I took this photo in September 2009 on waterfront in Usti nad Labem, and put it on the internet map, I did not know that a year later this picture (its original color version without any modifications) will be used as a template for the Collector's Edition postcard.

:bulletblue: A few weeks ago I was contacted the printer OFTIS Services to obtain the copyright for this photo and with the consent to be printed on postcards and collectibles - Cartes Maximum.
And now the 4th November 2010 postcards are ready.

:bulletblue: I was really surprised and pleased that my amateur photography finds itself between professional photos.

When I first saw this in my DA notices I immediately thought this is the bridge in your post card (which is actually displayed on my computer desk). I did look at my postcard to confirm. A slightly different angle, but the same bridge.

It still makes for a lovely picture.
